ORDER FOR STATUS REPORT Before the Court is the status of the above-styled and numbered cause. In response to an Order to Show Cause (docket no. 9) as to why this case should not be dismissed pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(m) and/or failure to prosecute, plaintiff informs the Court that defendant has "been properly served and is in default." (Docket no. 11 at page 4). It therefore appears to the Court that the time for answering has passed, no answer or responsive pleading has been filed by defendant, and plaintiff has not moved for entry of default or declared its intent to seek default judgment. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that plaintiff shall file, on or before August 21, 2019, a status report regarding its intent to move for default or otherwise explain how it intends to proceed in this case.
